Scale Recommendations, please?

I've had 2 Taylor scales in the past few years. Both have had them same problem: everytime you get on them, the weight and/or body fat % varies. This morning, I must have gotten on my scale ten times, and it would give me weights that weren't even close....they were 1.2 pounds difference. For someone trying to lose weight, a 1.2lb difference is a big deal! I made sure to reset it everytime I got on. I ended up just going with the weight that it gave me most frequently, so hopefully it's somewhat accurate.
Each of these scales have been about $30-$40. I'm fine with spending a little more money if it's going to be a scale that gives me an accurate, consistant reading, but I don't want to keep wasting money on scales that will say I weigh one weight, and then 30 seconds later say I'm 1 lb heavier.

I thought the Fitbit Aria scale looked cool, since it can sync with my MFP account. Anyone have one of these?

Re: Scale Recommendations, please?

  • I was going to suggest checking out the FitBit scale - I don't have one, but I want one and it is well reviewed.

I have a Taylor "biggest loser" scale and it seems to be pretty accurate. Every once in a while it will do what you describe, but for the past few months it will give a consistent reading when I step on it multiple times.
