Getting in Shape

Grow your own garden and regenerate plants that you bought from the grocery store.

Do you like Romaine lettuces, bok choy, and ginger to name a few?  If you are like me, and love these types of vegetables and root crops, then you may want to learn about regenerating these items.  Brides to be, in this difficult economy plant regeneration will help you save a pretty penny.  Is this easy?  Why it is unbelievably easy.  Start with Romaine lettuce, just chop off the leaves and leave the flat base that has a few short stalks on it.  Leave this in a dish with water, enough to cover the base.  Let this sit in the bowl for 2-3 days, and watch leaves start to sprout out.  Proceed to plant your regenerated crop.  In Florida this is practical almost year round.  If you want to know more send me an email to loseitrightnow@gmail.com

Sincerely,

Candace

  • eh, she doesn't seem to be selling anything so I think she's fine. Cool idea though, and very practical.

  • I'm actually really surprised this works...and I kind of want to try it (FI and I really sucked at growing lettuce last year on our city condo balcony...though my oregano is still going strong despite freezing temps!)
