Body by Vi??

I read the FAQ, but it says nothing about this program other than promotions of it aren't allowed. I have a few "friends" on FB that I am getting ready to unfriend because they are constantly throwing up on my newsfeed with this company. It seems scammy to me, and I am not interested. Just wondering if someone can give me some unbiased info about it.

I personally don't believe in diet pills/drinks and such. Remember that protein drinks are aimed  to replace a meal, but most women eat their regular servings + the shakes which is where they go wrong. I've lost 6 lbs in the past week and a half, naturally. I go to the gym or work out at home 45-60 min a day (use youtube videos for references) The way you eat is key!! I cut out all sodas, sugar-drinks and fastfoods. I drink water w/ fresh fruit in it so mentally I don't freak out. I eat salads, chicken,a lot of fruit and veggies. Go on pinterest for food ideas! I'm telling you I am the queen of trying diets, crash dieting, proteins, diet pills and nothing has worked for me other than actually cutting out the bad things.

Omg, H's cousin and her boyfriend will not shutthefuckup about stupid Vi. Really the shakes are not much different than the average slim fast from what I understand. They claim there's like 12 chicken breasts, 5 pounds of blueberries, etc in each one, but our bodies aren't meant to process food like that so idk. They've seen results but I'm interested to see if they can maintain. Of course, it's also money making scheme which is why everyone posts about it all the damn time.

I hid a newsfeed from a friend on facebook last week because it was literally every status. She is seeing results and swears that once she stops weight loss and switches to maintain that it should be super easy to do. I'm a skeptic and prefer just eating the right proportion and staying active.

The base of the shake is unfermented soy. Bad.
The sweetener is sucralose. Bad.
The vitamins and minerals are enriched. Bad
They say it is cheap, but all of the recepies I see call for 2 scoops of shake... Sounds like false advertising to me.
Their whole platform is about losing weight fast. Bad.

I am all for a healthy nutritonal shake, but the one I drink is a whole foods superfood blend. It is real food not fillers like this stuff.

Yeah it all sounds like a load of crap to me. Eat healthy, exercise, repeat. It's not always as easy as that, but I feel I don't need a shake to help me. Proportions and whole foods are more important. I just don't get the money making part of it.. that's what's mostly turning me off.

And Turtleslove, I am obsessed with your dress!!!

MLM's are not a bad thing, I have had wonderful experiences with a couple and there are good shakes out there too.. But the companies have to have their basis in Integrity. Most don't but there are a few!

i do a meal replacement shake (shakeology) but would never touch body by vi...it is FULL of bad for you stuff.  all you have to do is look at the ingredients and compare it to healthier stuff to know the difference. 
I also get the verbal vomit about it.  I dont think it works.

Update to this: Above mentioned facebook friend posted a picture of a doctor's prescription written out for Body by Vi.  Apparently, it's covered by this person's health insurance. What the.........??

I too use the Shakeology. I use it for the nutrients (vitamins, minerals etc) that I dont get in my diet because I am a really picky eater, and hate veggies. I have never heard anything good come out of Vi. Shakeology is 100% all natural which I love and I use it as my breakfast everyday. I think people use Vi because its a better price, but I believe you get what you pay for. 

Weight loss is 80% diet and 20% exercise. And yes there is more to it than that. I have Jillian Michaels book Master Your Metabolism and there is so much that comes into play with our hormones and weight loss/gain than just diet and exercise.

My friend is a distributor of it and so I bought some (off ebay of course so it would be cheaper lol) and honestly I HATE it!! it tastes like chalk! people claim it tastes soooo good but I had to choke it down. YUCK!! after reading PP posts im glad that i dont like it since it sounds like its bad for you.
