Getting in Shape

Slump

I am in a huge slump and don't know what to do.  I am a huge stress eater.  Well the second summer session of college started and the work load is humungous!  I am having extreme money issues right now.  I can't seem to get back on track.  To top it off my twin sister who has always been heavier than me sent me a before and now picture of her in drum corp.  Well guess who is the heavier one now.  I'm having a crisis.  I had a melt down in target yesterday while getting supplies for my summer classes.  I just don't know what to do.  I have an amazing FI who loves my body right now and doesn't want me to lose weight yet I want to be the way I used to be which is minus 35lbs.  I just can't seem to get it.  I feel that everytime I take a step forward I take 2 backwards.  I guess I just really need some words of encouragement or some budget friendly recipes and snack ideas.  Thanks ladies!

  • Don't look at it in terms of 35 lbs to go. Set smaller goals, say 5lbs and reward yourself with something (non-food) to celebrate that achievement.

I understand how fantastic it is to have a loving FI who supports you and loves you no matter your body shape/size, but it can also be frustrating.  You need to do what will make you happy.  Try making smaller changes until they become habits.

You can do it and you will!!
