Workout Accountability: Wednesday

Morning everyone!

A frustrating morning here - even though I only went 300 calories over two days ago, and busted my butt on the treadmill yesterday, still up 1.2 lbs.  Today is legs, back, and abs, so here's to hoping it's gone after that.  Healthy eating has been going well, too.

How is everyone doing on this lovely day? (well, it's rainy here, but oh well)

    Lobsters that sucks about the weight gain. Its just not fair to bust your butt so hard for so long to have one meal make an impact. I hope you are not discouraged, we are all still super amazed with your commitment to 30DS.

    Last night was a let down for me as well. Planned a spin class, gym buddy bailed on me so I planned a jog later when it cooled down.As I was getting ready to go a 'friend' of mine decided to go crazy and sent me a million nasty text messages accusing me of all kinds of things...usually I would just ignore and move on but this crazy 'friend' has my wedding dress at her apartment. uuugh so frustrating, hoping to go get it tonight ( she refused to let me come over yesterday for it) Tonight I am spinning no matter what!

    @Souptin - Yikes! You don't think your "friend" is the type to go psycho and do something to your dress to, do you?!

    Yesterday turned out to be a CRAZY day at work. A rush job landed on my desk and I spent the entire day working to get it out the door - took a 15 minute lunch (normally I get an hour and get to go home), then I wasn't able to walk at break with co-workers.

    I was exhausted after work, and even though I really didn't want to go to the gym I did. I only did 35 minutes on the ellpitical but I'm going to call that a victory!

  • Back on the bandwagon this week, we had family visiting and my stagette 2 weeks ago so it was a week or two from eating hell and laziness, lol. 

    So Monday we walked at work, yesterday I forgot my sneakers but last night we did 30 mins of treadmill intervals (jog/walk 1 min each).  And its amazing how out of shape you feel even after a week or so.  30 minutes was all I could muster.  Today we'll do our 50 mins walk at work and tonight treadmill intervals again.

  • It's been one of those weeks.  I didn't work out last night since I had to look for a dress for my shower which I was able to find.  I wont be working out tonight since I'm meeting up with a friend.  I'm not kicking myself over it because luckily my dress has a bit of wiggle room and (fingers crossed) even if I manage to mess up a week I've been pretty consistent weight wise.  Tomorrow I'm hoping to do some sort of cardio.
  • Hey ladies!

    I haven't posted in a bit now...I just moved across the country to start graduate school so things have been crazy! I am staying with some friends of the family right now and while they are so sweet and helpful...not having control over my own diet is driving me insane! I never realized how strict I've become...don't get me wrong, I have been eating delicious food (one of them loves to cook, especially French food, eeeek!!) every time I eat all I can think of is how many calories it is etc. etc. I must seem like such a pain in the ass...lol.

    I have been doing the best I can...at least getting my own breakfast and running in the park nearby (can't exactly bust out my zumba dvd to do in their living room you know!) I weighed myself the other day and everything seemed fine, so that is good.

    Best news though is that I'm moving into my own place today!! YAY! I am so excited to cook for myself again and stock the fridge with veggies and fruit!
  • Good Morning Ladies!

    Today was my weigh-in day - down 0.5.  Not very exciting, but I am glad I didnt gain (I was being bad this week).  So back on the treadmill tonight and I hope to lose 2 pounds this week and finally hit my mini-goal!

  • quick run this morning and then heat yoga tonight depending upon if my invites are finished up at the printer
  • Yesterday was awful and I am super excited for Zumba tonight though!  Lunch was good but dinner was at my FSIL's and I tried to portion control but still only eating half of dinner and half of the piece of chocolate caramel cake made me feel disgusting today.  So today will be better! Friday is weigh in and I want the work to show on the scale!

  • No workout yesterday for me. 3 trips to the airport to pick up family resulted in very little sleep for me. Will be getting a workout in at some point with my sister. Eating will not be that healthy this week but I am going to enjoy every minute of it and pick up again next week :)

  • Did my 2 mile jog today. Then when I get home from work and Walmart, P90X yoga!

    I started working out 1 week ago today. It's amazing the difference I can already FEEL. I'm getting muscle tone (the scale isn't budging much though) and I am able to last twice as long as I could my first day. I look FORWARD to working out daily. It's amazing.

    Reading your guys' posts (I've been stalking for some time now) inspired me to try and to know that it's doable. So, thank you!

  • I have been really slacking on working out and eating hasnt been good on portions but not always the healthiest choices.

    I hadn't worked out since last thursday but did an insnaity video and went rock climbing yesterday which felt great. I couldn't find the motivation to get out of bed this morning though so no workout yet. Eating should be good today and hopefully going rock climbing today which is at least something.

    Really hoping can get out of this slump and work hard the next month since thats when fiance is coming home from deployment. I want to look my best for him and be in a really good groove of working out and eating healthy since he already has a huge list of places he wants to go out to eat that I have been avoiding the whole time hes gone.

  • it was the fiance's bday yesterday and we went to visit his grandma SO no workout again yesterday. that's 3 days in a row. ewww!!! i am ABSOLUTELY working out tonight!!!! idc WHAT comes up!
