Lose-It App?

Does anyone use this?  What have your results been like?  I'm purely counting calories and exercising, and so far I've lost 4 lbs in a little under 2 weeks.  So far, so good - but with all of this tracking I almost wish I'd lost more already!

Re: Lose-It App?

  • I've used it before and had great success. I know alot of people who use it to help keep them on track. Sounds like you are doing great!! That is the perfect speed for weight to come off. If you lose it too quick-- it comes back quick. Also, that means you are doing it in a healthy way. So proud of you! Remember, if you hit a plateau don't freak out. Just change something a little bit. Add 30 minutes of cardio each day to your work out or more lean proteins and less carbs. Hang in there lady.

  • I use daily burn app counts carbs fats etc just makes it easier plus you can scan everything you eat. remember the lbs are just a number keep in mind it a fitness perspective 1-2 lbs is what they consider safe and effective per week. So max is about 8 lbs a month obviously we can lose more just dont get stuck on it.
  • Also, measure yourself. Muscle weights more than fat and if you are working out you could be building lean muscle and slimming down but you don't get the numbers. :)

  • I know, I really should measure myself.  I did try lowering my carbs over the weekend as well (same caloric intake) and lost a few pounds in water weight - so that was definite motivation!!  I know 2 lbs per week is normal weight loss, but usually I tend to lose a little more quickly initially and then I slow down.  I think it was the higher carbs I was consuming, but I'm definitely liking this little app (so far!)
  • Carbs fuel the body but, too much does not aid in weight loss so finding the right balance is good..glad your liking the app your using..if the weight slow down and your still looking to loose more change your routine so you dont hit that wall keep the body guessing every 2 weeks
