questions about P90x

Hi ladies,
Many of you raved about P90x in an earlier post I made. I read its reviews on Amazon and a couple people said they weren't in good enough shape initially to handle it, and instead started with just P90 or the "power half hour" DVDs.

My situation is that I don't need to lose weight, just want to tone up and burn a little extra belly fat.  Still, exercise really hasn't been any part of my life for a long time.
