  • At first I thought you were a vendor.  But if you are, you are a terrible one because I have no idea what you are trying to sell, so I did not report.
  • I agree, I thought this was a very confused vendor.
  • 10 lbs in 20 days is not healthy.  Whatever you did (vendor or not), I wouldn't throw away your clothes yet.  You're going to need them when that weight piles back on in a minute.
  • yes, 10 lbs in 20 days is not healthy.  You are not on the Biggest Loser, and the weight will come back on the moment you stop taking whatever it is you're using.  Or you start eating again.

  • 10 pounds in less than 3 weeks only giving up coffee and snacks? I think not.

  • This kinda sounds fake, but I've done it. I very rarely make it to the gym or do a lot of excersizing, and usually eat a lot of fast food. (i.e.- i'm probably the most unhealthiest person... but i rarely gain weight) I started doing pilates and cut out crappy snack foods and lost 25 lbs in under a month. And it stayed off. When I spoke to my dr, she said it was because i basically 'shocked' my body by working out, and if I kept up the regimine, the weight would either come off slower or not much. It was basically a jump start though.

  • Yeah I don't get it.  People who are overweight like 30, 40 50 + lbs do lose weight fast.  Because they aren't in their healthy weight ranges.  Some keep it up, but most will gain back about 20 or so.

My H used to be 225 in HS and went on the atkins diet (before he met me) and he got down to 175 and at one point was 165... but it wasnt a healthy diet.. because once you go back to your regular eating habits you will gain some weight back.

He won't even tell me how much he weighs.. he has put on some weight over the past few years.. and he might be around 190-200 lbs.. but he never tells his weight..

  • How much weight you lose is completely dependent on your body type. However just cutting out coffee and snacks would not produce these results for most people.

I recently got into running (used to be a comptetive swimmer) and began eating a healthy, balanced diet. I also do bootcamp 3 times a week... I lost about 25 lbs the first month and dropped about 4% of my BMI. No crash diet or radical anything. Just proper portions and lots of veggies. For my weight this is not super radical and I don't expect it to continue at the same pace. I would be happy with about 5-7 lbs a month from here on out.

My point just being that everyone's body is different. What is healthy for 1 person, may not be for another. And not all fast weight loss is going to be quickly regained, just depends how you go about it!
