Quick!!

I am getting my first laser hair removal in about 20 minutes. Do I tip???

I googled it and got various responses so if you have gotten it done, did you tip?

Thank you!!

I didn't tip.  I might when I go for my final treatment.

It was a groupon, does that make a difference?

I got the same groupon probably and I didn't tip. You go in really quick they do it and you leave. Like 5 mins or something. I didn't even think about tipping because I was in and out so quick.

Mine was a Living Social deal, still didn't tip.  Like Deepthi said, it takes like five minutes.  I don't think tipping is really necessary.  When I would get waxes they would always ask if I wanted to leave gratuity when I paid, and the place I go to for lasering never does.

I didn't tip, and then the last time I went I saw a big sign that says they appreciate tips.  Oh well... It really only takes 5 minutes.

    For future -
When I worked at a "medi-spa" (they did laser hair removal, microdermabrasion, facials, fotofacial, etc - I scheduled appts and rang people up and proofed marketing)...
Tips were just up to the discretion of the client.
Typically for facials, etc - Yes, tips were more expected... but as laser hair removal, etc are more like "cosmetic"/"medical" type procedures,  it was less common (but still appreciated)
It may depend on where you are going to an extent.
(from my experience, the technicians are paid hourly + commission from the package sales and any upgrades or products)
