Since we all are working so hard and I was inspired by Joe&cassie's request, I would love to see before and afters of everyone.  I couldn't quite figure out how to load photos on theknot, so I made a quick google site to share with everyone, check it out

anna, still always impressed by your pictures!

I like the idea of making it a sticky - but how about treating this like a checkin, too?  Many on here seem to be still toning if not losing, and many are just starting, so 'before and during' could be just as fun as 'before and after.'

I'll probably take these down again at some point (if I remember) because I hate looking at my 'befores.'  I took them off of my webshots to try to keep some of my personal info out...

I love the idea of before and currents!  That is definitely more where I am ... I have a goal of losing another 50 ... by my 30th birthday.  

We are a bunch of super fabulous ladies!!  Go us!! Woot woot!!

March 2011.  ok pardon the facial expression.  I was [clearly] very drunk.  this is a terrible picture of me for SO many reasons.
 

January 2011.  another terrible [drunken] picture!  I swear I do more than booze.  I picked the "fattest" pictures of myself and they just happen to both be ones where I was drinking haha!

And after (30 POUNDS LIGHTER!) April 2012


I feel like you can really tell in my face.  I still have a tummy though - trying to shed maybe another 15 lbs by the wedding.  maybe!

thank you, lobster!!  It took over a year to get 30 pounds off but I feel so much better about myself.  they say the longer it takes to lose, the better chances of it staying off.

Wow you ladies really are an inspiration! I don't have any pictures on my computer here at work but I'll try to post some one I get home I have any there either. I've lost about 17 in the last month and 5 days! I just need to exercise a lot more than I do and you ladies have inspired me to do that!

Mine aren't as drastic.. for me it was more just losing some fat and muscling up

Crap.. I just realized I have been a slacker with picture taking.. lol.. That pic is from earlier this year at a party. 

The difference between the two photos is about a 4% body fat change

firsttimers, that's awesome and you look great!  I feel like what you did is where I'm trying to get next - any tips now that my goals have changed?

Thanks lobs! I had been doing a lot of cardio in the first picture, but I wasn't a clean eater at that time. I've only been a clean eater for about a year now. i think that that had a HUGE impact. 

I also wasn't lifting at all before, and since adding in lifting, I feel amaaazing, and everything just.. tightened up. It's crazy noticeable in my arms and tummy as well... but I don't really have a great shot of those besides my boudoir photos... but I wouldn't have much of a "before" shot

Thanks firsttimers.  I've cut out a lot of processed foods, but started to slowly let them creep back in lately.  I think I'll have an easy time with it in the fall - so I'll have to try to recommit to it!

oh i feel ya.. switching to vegan has made it reeeeally difficult to NOT have processed stuff.. so strange.. You would think it would be the opposite. And fall is my worst time because it's my favorite season ) haha
