Reception Venue

My fianc and I are looking for a nice but inexpensive reception venue in the Dallas metroplex area. We will probably have around 250 guests but a small budget. Anyone have any suggestions on places to look into?

What is your budget for the venue? And what type of venue are you looking for in terms of style?

What do you mean by "small"?  I had a similar guestcount, and also considered my budget small.

Try community or civic centers. They have big ballrooms usually at lower costs.
