Getting in Shape

Hi Everyone, New to the Board

Hi Everyone!  I've become a lot more focused on losing the last chunk of weight I'd like to lose before our wedding, so I've decided to check this board out.

Wedding date: 11/02/2013, so I have loads of time

Weight loss/fitness goals: I gained 40+ pounds on the Mirena and after having it removed, I've lost about 35 of those pounds. I'd like to lose another 10 pounds before the wedding.  I also really want to tone my arms, which are the only "ugly" spot on me.

Favorite cake flavor: Lemon!

If you lurk, how long have you: just a few days now.

Anything interesting about yourself: I dont particularly like sweets- I'm all about the savory foods.

Any question you might have: Any good suggestions for arm workouts?  Specifically, can you recommend a DVD workout that is good for arms?

    A lot of women have great success using the New Rules of Lifting for Women books as a guide for weight lifting.  So if you have access to weights, I'd suggest that.

    Otherwise, I always feel it in my arms after doing 30 Day Shred and many of the bigger programs like Insanity, p90x, and Bridalicious Bootcamp have dvds/chapters that focus on more specific areas.
