Monday Accountability

Ugh, I'm not a fan of Mondays.

B: overnight oats w/ almond milk, yogurt, chocolate protein powder, PB and 1/2 banana, coffee w/ skim milk
S: apple and PB
L: rye crackers w/ light cream cheese, red onion and smoked salmon topped w/ baby arugula
S: red pepper and hummus
D: egg sandwiches

E: I was a giant slacker this weekend, and while I did do a lot of work around the house, I skipped out on the gym.  I think I'm bored with where I am in my program, so, I'm moving on to the next phase.  So, I'll be doing FBB Defive Yourself Phase, Workout A1

  • grrrr....I so did not want to get up this morning :(

    B- 1 egg, 1 egg white, light english muffin, cheese, coffee
    S- greek yogurt with skinny granola
    L- ??? I didn't have anything good to bring so I will run out for a salad
    D- turkey tacos

    E- going for a run after work....need to take advantage of these nice fall afternoons

    l- chobani mixed with pumpkin
    d- no idea, FIs sick and he usually cooks.If he's not up for eating, I'll make a turkey sandwich.

  • Morning. Not feeling so hot this morning. Boo nausea... :/

    B - overnight pumpkin pie oats (oats, almond milk, vanilla protein powder, pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, & brown sugar)
    L - leftover spaghetti squash w/ green giant just for one broccoli cheese side
    S - banana
    D - TBD, depending on how I feel

    E - hopefully 55 minutes on the elliptical, but like dinner, depends on how i feel

  • I haven't participated in this before, but I'm working hard to get to my goal weight before my wedding next August.  Can you let me know how it works?  I find I do much better when I'm writing everything down and this seems like a great way to stick with it.
  • Good Morning! I agree with everyone’s thoughts on Monday..

    B – Special K Protein Cereal, Low Fat Milk, Strawberries
    S – Orange, Crunchmaster Crackers and Alouttee Brie Spread
    L – Spinach Salad with tomatoes, cucumber, feta cheese, and LemonPepper Chicken
    S – Apples and PB
    D – Broccoli,  mushrooms, and ground turkey burger

    E- Riding my bike to the gym for a 60 Minutes Fit Yoga Class


    I need to get back on track. I do so well during the week and Friday evening arrives then it’s the weekend and my diet is just completely blown. Between the FI and the kids eating their chicken nuggets, sandwiches, etc. I have tried putting the chicken nuggets over salads with a light dressing or making lettuce wraps instead of bread for sandwiches.  I think my problem is a few glasses of vino and all of the great tailgate food every weekend, then Monday morning the weight just comes right back.. 

    Cheers to a great week and a hoping for a better weekend of eating better. 
    Does anyone else have this issue?
