I try to have Green Monster every day, if you Google it, there's like a million recipes out there, lol. Most of them include 2 cups/handfuls of spinach (Or some other leafy green) and a banana and then tossing in different things for taste preferences. I can't stand bananas, so I worked around that by subbing in other fruits. This is the recipe I use the most:

    2 cups of spinach
1 cup Vanilla Coconut or Almond Milk
    1/2 cup strawberries
    1/2 cup pineapple chunks
    1/3 cup blueberries
1 individual size Dannon Greek yogurt (Plain or Vanilla)
    2 tbs flax seed
    Ice

The fruit overpowers the taste of the spinach. Sometimes, I'll use kale instead, which has a bit of a bite to it, but it's still pretty good when mixed up with everything else. Depending on if I use a plain or vanilla yogurt, this particular one works out to be between 320-380 calories (I did the math), which may be frightening for a "snack", but as an actual meal is fine.

  • I like frozen strawberries and pineapple, pineapple, a banana, orange juice, and vanilla (or strawberry banana) yogurt in mine.

I totally replied earlier and it looks like TK ate it. Anyway, I try to have a "Green Monster" everyday (Preferably for breakfast, but on mornings when I don't have time, I'll make it my dinner). If you Google it, you'll find millions of [really easy] recipes, but the base ingredients are typically 2 cups/handfuls of spinach and a banana, and then other things thrown in for taste/vitamin preferences. I hate bananas, so I worked around it by subbing in other fruits. This is the recipe I tend to use the most:

    2 cups spinach
    1 cup vanilla coconut/almond milk
    1/2 cup strawberries
    1/2 cup pineapple chunks
    1/3 cup blueberries
1 individual cup of Dannon Greek yogurt (Plain or vanilla)
    2 tbs flax seed
    4 ice cubes

Sometimes I will use kale instead of spinach, pretty much any "leafy green" will work though. It probably sounds gross to blend the greens in there, but trust me, the fruit really does over power the taste of it. I use frozen fruits because they last longer, but obviously, fresh is fine (Just stay away from the stuff that's preserved in syrup). I have done the "calorie math" on this recipe because I use it so much. Depending on whether I use plain or vanilla yogurt (Which honestly depends on which one I can find at the store that week), it works out to be between 320-380 calories, so it's definitely something to make for a "meal", not a "snack".

  • I make smoothies everyday and my favorite recipe is: 1 banana, 1 kiwi (wout the skin), a handful of blueberries, 1 tbsb flaxseed, and some juice. I make sure the juice is 100% juice and I  also like to add in my daily vitamins.
  • I've never tried a smoothie with peanut butter...how does it taste?
  • 1 frozen banana (this way you dont need ice), strawberries and plain non fat yogurt. So simple, so good! I only seem to make smoothies in the summer time but I've been inspired to try some winter smoothies!
  • Handful of spinach, 1 banana, 1 tsp of honey, 1 cup of frozen mixed berries, a dash of cinnamon and 1 cup vanilla almond milk, yum and 3 servings of fruit and veggies!
  • My favorite lately are these two:

    1 scoop greenberry shakeology
    1/2 cup OJ
    1/2 cup strawberries
    1/2 cup raspberries
    1/2 cup water

    or

    1 scoop chocolate shakeology
1 tablespoon better 'n peanut butter (Trader Joes)
    1 cup almond milk

Love my shakeology.... it's all my fruits and veggies and vitamins in one glass... which is great since I don't like veggies much. :) If you want more info, feel free to PM me. :)
