Getting in Shape

Before & After Pics are Shocking!!!

Over the years I have become a little lazy when it comes to exercising and started putting on a bit of weight.  So my goal is to lose 20 llbs.  by my wedding.  I began a workout program the first of the year along with a strict diet.
I took pics of myself (almost naked) when I began working out and eating right.  3 months later I am down 15 llbs. but not feeling like I can see much results.  So I took another round of pics.  OMG!!!  My body is transforming before my very eyes!  I was amazed!  I almost cried, lol.
So, if I can offer any advice to motivate yourself in your own weight loss journey, take pictures of yourself every 3 months.  It is instant reassurance that you hard work is truly paying off!

  • Maybe I should do this.  I took before pictures when I started working out. I have now lost 25 lbs. but I feel as though I can't tell, I think I will go home and do this tonight! Thanks for the tip! Congrats to you!

  • That's fantastic!! Congrats on your results! I always recommend people taking before pics and measurements because even when you aren't seeing a drop on the scale, you will see a difference in those inches and pictures. Just going by how well you're clothes are fitting and how amazing you feel is great too. What program are you doing?

I started with Jillian Michaels Shed & Shred, that became super boring so I took my fav moves from that and just started doing my own routine coupled with lots of cardio on the treadmill.  I just completed day 3 of Insanity, so that's what im doing for the next 2 months.
