Hey girls! If you have an ipod touch and youre looking to get in shape, I just downloaded the best FREE app yet! Its called Nike Trainer. Its awesome! It has a TON of workouts anywhere from beginner to advanced. It has a number of different combinations of workouts that you can do at home. Most of them are 30 to 45 mins long. You can choose to do a full-body workout or just choose specific areas you wanna work out (legs, butt, abs, arms etc..) What I like about this so much better than watching workout DVDS, is that you can listen to your own playlists while you are working out. Have you ever had that great DVD that you love to do but it just gets sooo boring because of the lame music they play? And its not like you can listen to your own music because the workouts may not go with the beat of your music. So with this app, problem sovled! It has a voice that tells you what to start doing (run in place, squats, jumps etc) and if youre not sure how to do it, it has a clip of a woman doing it so you can see how to do it. She will countdown til its time to do the next workout. So all you do is follow the voice commands. You can do this in your own home which is great. You could take it with you anywhere. On vacation or wherever you go! So this is one great way to get in shape before the wedding. I also got the "couch to 5k" app. I paid I think 2.99 for that one. But if you want to start running and never really have before and dont know whare to start, this app is great. It has you walk and run in intervals until it slowly builds you up til you can run a 5k witout stopping. Great concept! So far Ive only done the first day though because its just been waaaay too cold outside! Im waiting til spring to really get it going.
