For the past month I've been doing some client work onsite. The first day I was here I ran into an ex, who I dated 3 hours away in college almost 5 years ago. Turns out he lives here now and is ALSO doing contract work for the same client. I just have to make it until Friday, when I roll off for good. It was a messy breakup and this has been just so awkward. Almost done, almost done....

I just spotted two kids in the hallway.  They are holding hands so it's fairly safe to assume they are dating.  They also have the same haircut.  That may be taking the idea of togetherness a little too far.

I have a student who doesn't understand basic concepts like turning off a faucet.  It's not even 9 and my patience is out the window.

And also, how do you talk your groom out of having all 4 of his groomspeople make a toast? During our meeting with Melody last night he sprung that on us.

I would try to encourage him to have three of them toast at the rehearsal dinner to cut down on the time it takes to do it at the reception. J and I had an 'open toasting' at the rehearsal dinner after we got up to thank everyone for being there and for supporting us, blah blah blah. That way, if anyone wanted to roast us with crazy stories they could be as long winded as they wanted to be without delaying the other reception events. It didn't keep our BM from giving us a roast instead of a toast at the wedding though. Man those speeches were long...at least my dad was amusing :)

Had an interview this morning... said they will hopefully start 2nd round of interviews next week. Yay? Still crossing my fingers to hear back from a library!

Buhhhhhhh. <--- This is how I feel right now.

So, I got to have dinner last night with my MIL, SIL, SIL's boyfriend, and H's cousin's husband (whew).  This is the same cousin who my MIL took one look at and declared, "YOU'RE PREGNANT!" at Christmas.  They recently found out they're expecting twins.  So cousin's husband (who is a dead ringer for Tony Romo) was just beaming all night.  It was a lot of fun.

Also, I just ate MIL's leftovers from dinner (smoked prime rib) for lunch.  Mmmmmm.

Last night the mother of the boys that I tutor offered to throw me a couples shower at their mini-mansion. I am over the moon since I didn't think a bridal shower was going to happen due to schedules/out of town friends and family. 

Also, I had a fantastic surprise before I left for work. Luke (my black lab furbaby) decided to stop, drop, and roll in mud today. I guess it was his way of telling me he wanted a bath. He is now all nice and clean but it took two good scrubbings to get all the mud off him. Idk what his deal was, he has never done that before.
