Jamba Juice Catering for Bridal Party Getting Ready?

So our wedding is coming up in a few weeks and I'm starting to look at my options for food the morning of. Since all of the girls & moms will be getting ready together, I thought it would be nice to have some food & drinks to snack on. The last thing I want to do is eat a whole bunch of heavy & salty breakfast foods right before the wedding, but I also don't want to be hungry.

So, I was looking into getting some smoothies, muffins, salads & sandwiches from Jamba Juice. Has anyone else tried their catering service or can tell me if they have heard of any positive/negative experiences? Or perhaps someone else has a better idea for healthy, simple & cost effective brunch ideas?

  • Sorry I don't have any experience with their catering but just wanted to say...

Thanks for the idea! I was planning on doing bagels/muffins and a plate or two of sandwiches from Jimmy Johns or something. I think I'll look into this too.

  • I really like this idea, but the more I'm thinking about it, the more of a logistical nightmare it's becoming. I'd have to ask each of the people who'd be there that morning (probably 8 right now), which smoothie they'd like. Then, it seems like the store by me has a $100 minimum for delivery and I don't think I'll hit that. Plus, if people don't drink them all, it's a waste. If I just do some platters from a Panera, it won't go to waste.

Grrr...it was such a good idea. I might just ask someone to buy 2-3 smoothies that morning for the few of us that would appreciate it.

Annnd, now that I'm thinking more about it, the closest jamba juice is maybe 30 minutes (maybe even more w/ traffic) away from where we'll all be getting ready. No one likes a warm, runny smoothy.

Is your Jamba Juice close? Would someone be willing to get the food to avoid the delivery minimum? Orrr maybe panera would just be easier. Good Luck!

I know that they deliver with some special ice box pack thing that keeps it perfectly. My JJ is about 20 minutes away. Apparently the smoothies without milk hold better. I think it might be easier to just pick up 2-3 that morning & go with Panera. I thought it was such a good idea!
