What's the best time of day to weigh in?  Or, when do you weigh in?

  • I personally weigh myself in the morning, right after I work out. I only weigh myself every 1-2 weeks.

  • I weigh first thing in the morning because I feel it's most consistent. Weight can fluctuate so much during the day depending on what you've had to eat or drink, if you've worked out, used the bathroom, etc.
  • In the morning, after going to the bathroom and before getting dressed!

    But like others said, as long as you're doing it in the same circumstances/time every time you weigh, you'll get accurate gain/loss readings. :)

  • I always weigh in after my morning bathroom visit.  Weighing in in the evening can be really inaccurate depending upon the weight of whatever you've eaten and drank that day.

    i also weigh in on Thursdays because weekends are party time for me and by then 3 days have passed so any residual bloat from salty foods or alcohol (BWW) is out of my system.
