Workout Accountability: Thursday

Good morning, it is absolutely freezing here today.

Yesterday was my rest day, so I caught up on some laundry/cleaning.  Tonight will be lifting (arms/upper body) and the elliptical. 

How about everyone else?

    I did yoga last night.  I've started an every other day yoga routine.  I took a really long break over the holidays because I felt burned out.  So, now that I've started up again, I'm taking it slow.  I've been doing this routine for about two weeks and I already feel like I'm toning up.  I'm excited to get back into working out, but I'm not going to rush in and go as hard as I did last time.  I need to last all the way to September so I can be in wedding day shape.

    Glad you had some time to get things done.  :)

  • Yeah, I kind of spaced for a while.  I just needed a break.  But, now it's time to get back at it! :)

  • 60 minute spin class this morning! My gym just got new bikes. Our old bikes had no display on them and the resistance was just a knob. With the new bikes I can finally tell where my RPMs are and what gear I'm in. I felt like I got a lot more out of the class with the new bikes.

  • Didn't make it to the gym last night because my back was spasming...I still did 45 minutes on my bike though just to make sure I got some kind of exercise in.

    Probably won't be able to make it back to the gym till SUNDAY because of a bunch of events I'll be attending the next few days...which is crazy.

    Keep up the good work ladies!  To those that aren't able to work out, or can't as much as they would like, remember eating healthy is a big part of it too, so if you're doing that you're doing great :)

    Last night was lifting and abs.  Tonight will hopefully be a run.  
  • I did yoga this morning & am planning to run with my group after work.  We usually do about 6-8 miles but I'll see how my toe is feeling.  Hopefully I will get at least 5 in.

    Lbarr- awesome reminder about eating right!!  I work out SO much and I just don't see results or feel as well when my diet has been bad.

    Good to see you too!  I'm back after an extended break.  Starting out slow, so I can get to where I want to be without getting burned out again.

  • Did a 45 minute intermediate Zumba workout. It was OK. It was basically the two 20 minute beginner workouts shmushed together. I had grand plans of adding on a Jillian Michaels workout after, but I couldn't muster anymore energy.
