p.s. since i cancelled my weight watchers subscription (which will be effective in a few days so i wont be able to track anymore online), i ordered a members kit and pointsplus calculator so i can continue to do the program :)

anybody know when your pts target goes down? is it still down 1 pt about every 10 lbs lost?

  • Congrats on the loss this week and glad you're feeling better!  Our leader hasn't told us when the points decrease on the new program and I haven't looked it up since I'm already at the minimum.

I'm eating lunch on the run since we're meeting with our wedding photographer during my lunch hour and I have to tutor after work, so it's going to be a busy day.

  • Morning!  I've decided that I can't be mopey anymore when DH is gone.  He's going to be gone a lot and I need to focus on the positive-which is more time for myself, including GIS!  Hopefully my new found positive attitude will lead to some weight loss!

    B: Breakfast cookie (7)
L: Roasted Butternut squash with Bacon and Chicken Pasta (7)
S: Fruit dip (3) with pineapple, grapes and strawberries (0)
D: More of the Butternut squash pasta (7)

    Target: 29

E: sore from yesterday, but maybe some biking tonight before dinner

  • Hi everyone!  I've been really laxed about my eating plan for the last couple weeks.  Graceful- congrats on the loss!  I'm glad you are finally feeling better.  I'm finally feeling better myself, so hopefully this is the start of better planning/exercising, etc.  I'm like you graceful.... I gained a bunch of weight back after my wedding.  Lost 25 pounds before my wedding, and gained about 20 of it back.  So, I'm now about 5 pounds away from my wedding weight, but would still like to lose another 15 or so pounds more than that.  I just need to get myself going again.

I'm not even posting my eating plan for today as I really have no plan.  Its a lot of piece meal stuff, but hopefully not too bad.  I didn't make it to the grocery store yesterday, so hopefully I can do that soon and get back on track.

Just wanted to say hi to everyone!

  • Kim - the website & new materials just say that your leader will help you update your points target as you go. I'll let you know the next time my points go down.

Well, ladies... I got in my first car accident yesterday. That was fun... not. Nobody was seriously injured, but I'm going to go to the chiropractor because I woke up stiff on my right side this morning. Just to be safe. Oy vey.
Today's up in the air as far as food. I have a really busy week.

    B: leftover chicken alfredo (?), coffee w/creamer (2)
    rest of the day: tbd

oh man - im sorry jenn! that is no fun at all! my only suggestions is to go to your regular dr first before a chiropractor. when the insurance companies decide who is at fault and who will pay for injuries/treatment due to the accident, alot of time they will contest your injuries if you go to a chiropractor first. then you will have to pay out of pocket. if you dr refers you to a chiropractor, thats a different story, usually.

  • Jenn-I'm sorry!  That sucks!  I've only been in one accident and the chiropractor definitely helped!  The other guy was at fault and his insurance definitely paid my chiro bills, but then my dad and brother are lawyers and were mad that this guy hit me because he was totally at fault so I think they pushed pretty hard to get everything taken care of.  I hope you're feeling better in no time.

And Kim and Vball-I'm with you.  I gained back all of the weight after the wedding and am just losing it again.  I had promised myself I wouldn't let myself gain it back, but this summer we just had WAY too much fun being newly weds.  We went out to eat too much, drank too much sangria, and didn't work out nearly enough.  But as I've heard before, every pound that's gained can be lost!

  • Well, my chiropractor is $20 per visit, no insurance necessary. I'm not too concerned, but thanks for the heads up! :)
  • Favorite- Sorry to hear about your accident!  Take care of yourself and hopefully the chiropractor can make you feel better.
