Texas-Dallas and Ft. Worth

DFW Photographer

I'm getting SO OVERWHELMED with how many photographers there are to choose from in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Ladies, I need your recommendations! I'm looking for someone fun and creative. My budget is $2500. Please help me find the perfect one!

My favorite so far is Six Fourteen but I haven't heard back from them about availability.

Stefanie Hampton Morrow might have a package in your range.  For just under $3000 I got:
    8 hours
    All digital negatives
    Platinum Level Album
And something else but I don't have my contract in front of me, so I can't remember.

Her website is www.hamptonmorrowphotography.com and my pics aren't out yet, but she has gorgeous photos on her blog.

My two cents: There are a lot of good photographers out there! Find one that fits your budget, has a good "bang for the buck" package wise, and one that has a style that you like in their samples! I personally really the narrow depth of field shots.

Our photog was Krauzian Images--we paid $1699 for our package (included a TK and Military discount which knocked $300 off the initial $2K), and I think he also does photobooths now; including that, the total may fall under your budget of $2500 if you were interested in something like that.

Mine was Jessica Mooney. We were very happy with her.

I also like Lyncca Harvey, but haven't used her personally

its because everytime there is a layoff people ask themselves what now, I know I will be a wedding photographer I have a digital camera it cant be that hard. you want to look for number of years in the business and expericence not just a fancy few images that have been photoshopped.

We chose IrvinPhotography.com because he was a newspaper photographer for 10 years before being a wedding photographer for the last 10 or so.

I am pretty sure he will be great, his office was covered in emails from past brides.

    My .02 cents

    I will second Maddiepie Creations
  • I am still searching around as well. Monday I met with a representative from George Street Photography, and I really enjoyed the package that was explained to me. I am still doing more looking around (my wedding isnt until June 2013), but the pricing should be in your range.
