Is it a scam?

I was just contacted by Gateway Bride today saying that I won something from a drawing I entered at the bridal show in Dallas. When I called back they said I won wedding bands and groceries but I had to some and test cookware first. Have any of you dealt with Gateway Bride before? Is it a scam?

I think they are scams. When II went to the DFW bridal show about 2 months ago I got a call from a company called "Celebrity" saying I won toasting flutes and a free trip. Here is what I found when I did some digging!

Oh, and they will FOREVER call you. They are relentless and will not give up!

I get calls from somewhere in MO (so it says on my phone) saying they have a special bridal package for me and they can only hold it for a certain period of time. They say to call back..leave their name and say Congradulations. I have never called them back. lol

They are targeting a specific audience, knowing that if we can cut corners and save some money on a big ticket item--or even get it for FREE--that we will be intrigued. If it seems too good to be true, it probably is. If they want to 'demonstrate' something, or have you come to an 'exclusive event', they are just trying to get their hooks into you. Beware!!!
