First, a little background info...
My sister-in-law just got engaged, and is getting married in two weeks. Her finance just came back from a 4 month deployment in Kuwait, and they are getting married quickly because he is being sent to Korea next month. They had originally planned a going away party at the Iron Cactus in Dallas, so it will be turned into a reception instead. Now, they just need a wedding venue!
They are looking for something cheap/free that is in downtown Dallas. The wedding itself will be very small--approximately 25 guests. It is going to be very low-key. They would like to find an area with stairs, an amphitheater, or gazebo so the bride and groom have a space without having everyone else seated. Please let me know if you have any ideas. The date has been set for October 8th, so we don't have much time to plan!
