What do you all think of this being said at a ceremony? I think it's a very sweet and fun poem!!

    I actually was just a bridesmaid at one of my friend's weddings this past weekend and they read this.  It was very sweet and cute! Everyone loved it!

    If you are really  into dogs I guess it could be fitting, but personally I wouldn't want a poem that references "crooks" and "muggers" and "bad love, bad". To me it is not romantic or inspirational or wise. I wouldn't want to compare my relationship to the one I have with my dog.

    Like I said though, I guess it could fit some couples...

    Thanks for both your opinions.  I will think about it and we meet the minister tomorrow so I will see what he has to say as well.

    We decided not to go with this poem.  I liked it but thinking about it more I didn't think it would fit into our ceremony the way I wanted it too! we are going to do a poem our minister provided for us!
