Today I make a promise to you…

I promise that whatever happens, you will not walk alone. I will stand by your side, and sleep in your arms.

I promise to give you the best of myself, and to bring out the best in you. To accept you for the way you are, and ask of you no more than you can give.

I promise to cry with you, and to laugh with you. To have good times with you, and to struggle through the bad times too.

I promise to share tears of joy, and wipe your tears of sadness. To grow old with you, and push you in a wheelchair if you can no longer walk.

And I promise to give you my heart, for you are my beloved soul mate now and forevermore.

I love the "sleep in your arms" part, I'm also using it  But I think the "push you in a wheelchair if you can no longer walk" part doesn't flow as well as the rest does.  You might consider revising it.

okay i'm the opposite... I love push you in a wheelchair part... but i don't like the "sleep in your arms" part. HAHA I guess I'm just wierd. I like less serious more reality sounding vows.
I mean I might re word it but i don't think it needs to come out.  And maybe instead of "struggle through the bad times"... "stick by you through the bad times"?

Agree about the wheelchair part - it just doesn't flow the same as the rest of it does.

I like the "push you in the wheelchair" part. My fiance & I have a running joke about it so it makes sense to me. I do agree that stick by you through the bad times seems a little nicer. Over-all I think its fantastic, good job
