I didn't know if you guys knew but The Cake Guys have a new location on Oak Lawn Avenue--right by my work. I am so excited to get a cake from them for my birthday next month!
But wow--have they gone up since my wedding in 2009. I guess that's what being on The Next Great Baker does for your demand. According to their website, their servings for a bride's cake begin at $4.95 (not including the Sweet Inspirations package which is closer to $3.50).
