I haven't yet...I'm going to at the beginning of next week.  When I asked he was like "...about 3 weeks usually".  Well it will be 4 Sunday and they usually post them Sun-Tues so I better have them!  I'm going to tell him I was gonna show people at thanksgiving.

I flame that our engagement picture photographer canceled 3 different times in two weeks. Now we have to wait even longer because we are both super busy through Thanksgiving. Totally set me back on making our save the dates. I also wanted them to look fallish and the leaves are now almost gone. Ughh!

I flame the fact that where we live it is next to IMPOSSIBLE to get materials to make your own invitations and stuff... There are like no arts and crafts stores around here and I wanted to get the invites done this coming week.

I also flame the fact that for some reason the wedding stress snuck up on me this week so I have had major nightmares.. Tonight I woke up crying because I had a dream that everything that could possibly go wrong went wrong, and in addition I dreamt that my brohter drowned on my wedding day... Not a great way to start they day...

This may not help you to get them done this week, but cardsandpockets.com has pretty much everything you would need to DIY Invitations and they are semi-resonably priced.

I flame my bank - I have over draft - well i should say I had overdraft - and the one time I REALLY need to use it I find out they turned it off on me because I never use it - and of course I would only be using it for like 2 days then the money would be back in the account - just timing again with my check from my  new job - and direct deposit not taking effect yet


i flame my sister too -- she gave me an address for my save the dates - she even wrote it out - but some how it was my fault that it came back because she wrote the address wrong - UGH - but some how I am the one that made the address mistake

KSerafin, I'm pretty sure that you and I are the same person on opposite sides of the state!  I was going to suggest cardsandpockets.com, but you beat me to it.  I also can't stand when ppl come to work sick, which is what my boss does CONSTANTLY, and it's also when he needs the most.

And I'm cheating with the siggy engagement pics - we haven't done them and most likely won't (damn you, FI's job!!) so I'm going to use one of us from Halloween.  Mostly because I look hot

I flame my workplace:

1) There is a foul odor in the air that smells like a mixture of dirty feet and dirty butt.  Maintenance says it's the drains but the conspiracy theorist in me would rather think we're slowly being killed by a gas in the air vents. 

2) We had a Thanksgiving breakfast carry-in today.  The big-wigs brought foam plates and plastic utensils.  Five people who make over $75,000 a year and that's all they purchased.  They literally probably pitched in a dollar a person while pions bring in breakfast casseroles, bacon, eggs, sausage, quiche, etc.  Usually they provide us different kinds of juice and milk.  They didn't even do that.  Disgusting. 

3)  We have been under a pay and hiring freeze since May of 2007.  We're sooooo shorthanded and all of our pay keeps going down as health insurance costs keep going up.  We're so overworked and my caseload is so crazy I literally have anxiety attacks before at times before coming into work in the morning. 

4) I've been with the same government agency for 12 years, five of which I've had a second job to supplement the loss in pay.  I'm just sick of working so hard with no appreciation or respect.  I'm in a thankless career but at least the powers that be should appreciate their staff.  Not here.

 I flame our potential limo company.  I called multiple limo places to get a price for a mini-bus to drive the bridal party to the wedding and pick us up 8 hours later. Almost all places said they would have to charge me hourly. 9 hours at 200 an hour, plus tax, fuel surchage, and gratuity...no, I dont think so.  

 I finally found one company who quoted me a great price for the pick up/drop off.  The owner told me to email him our wedding info and he would email me a contract ...He didn't.  We also had a plan for me to go check out the bus today in person. I called an hour before our scheduled meeting and the owner tells me the bus is in Detroit. Well, I definitely can't see if it is in Detroit. 

 Figures that the one company that gave me a reasonable price might be kinda shady.

I'm flaming the UPS guy for having the worst timing ever.  4 minutes til the end of my shift (before my weekend off) and he comes in with a pallet of boxes for me to check in. *sigh*

I flame my niece and nephews mother who said she would pay me the $250 she owes me for daycare (not to mention the $1,000 she owes payments for my taxes) and she told me she would pay me the $250, but she couldn't do it by the 1st. Now here it is the 16th and I have bills due and she STILL has not paid me! Her excuse was she doesn't have the money, but yet she took her family of 6 out to dinner tonight! I can't even go see Breaking Dawn pt. 2 bc I have bills due and I need to book my caterer which won't happen this month unless she pays me. GRRRR! I heard rumors she quit her job this week which means I won't be doing daycare anymore and who knows if she is going to pay me! VERY Frusterated.

I also flame my FI cousin for breaking his FI's heart by cheating on her and he is now engaged to the girl he cheated on her with. Feel so bad for his Ex-FI. She was family to us. They were together for 7 years! All of this happened in the past month.

On a better note...

I am applying to an art college tomorrow and hopefully will get accepted!!! I have an Associates degree and I want to go back and get my Bachelor's. I have been dragging my feet on it for 2 years. Done procrastinating. Gonna just do it. Wish me luck!

I'm flaming Zazzle, where I ordered my Save the dates from.  I ordered them on Halloween and thought they would be here by now! I'm anxious to see how they turn out, and was hoping I could hand deliver some to family I'm visiting this weekend.

Thank you :) I'll have a look there. Today I have been out hunting again through every imaginable shop and I can't even find something as simple as navy cardstock.... Frustrating!
