I feel so behind!

So far I have my dress, shoes, and the venue. We have a few bridesmaid dresses picked as options, but one of the BMs just had twins, so we wont have them try on/order dresses for a few months yet. I have a 7-month-old son, who keeps me pretty busy, so its easy to forget that yes, I also have a wedding to plan! Please tell me Im not the only one who doesnt have all or even most of their vendors picked/colors/decor ideas finalized!

I don't have my dj yet Or my cake but I have lots of other stuff decided on just not put a deposit on the dj yet or found a cake. Hoping the dj place will also be my videographer too so that is actually 2 checks when I actually talk to them

I'm sure you're not the only one! A lot of the girls here are on top of things, so they will be happy to offer you advice!

I only have my dress, shoes, venue, photographer, and caterer! I keep feeling so far behind too, and I don't have a small child to look after so I couldn't imagine!  We live 3 hours away from where we are getting married so it's been pretty difficult to try to meet with different vendors since I can't afford to take off from work and drive there very often! Good luck with planning... I'm waiting until after the holidays to put much thought into it!

Ha! You're much further along than me! We've only committed to our venue, I'm still scoping out dj/florist/photographer an just now settling on colors. I'm going dress shipping next month.

Don't feel bad I feel pretty behind too! With work and now house hunting it's sometimes hard to find the time to just sit down and focus on wedding planning. All we have are the venue, ceremony location and photographer. Our venue includes the family style dinner and we booked it so we can have the ceremony there but in a separate room although now I think we are going to try to have the ceremony at the church that one of our friends got married at. I have to find an officiant and once we do we are going to put the deposit down for the church and officiant. I'm working on our save the dates this week :

Well you're way ahead of me... All of you are. I only have my venue and colors picked. Although I know who I want as a caterer and photographer, I haven't booked them. And I don't go dress shopping until January 16th... So girls, you are all way ahead of me! Lol

All I have is a photographer. I am about to let my venue owners know that I am switching them : I only started trying in dresses today! Everything will be okay...

Thank you ladies! I feel much better about how things are coming now! I have a ton of ideas, but we really cant afford to put many deposits or buy things for DIY quite yet.

You're not alone!! I have a 8 month old son, I'm planning from cross country, I had surgery a month ago, and I'm a PhD student!!! I felt like everything wouldn't come together but these last 2 weeks of my winter break I've gotten a lot done. And I have a MOH who's great. I'm going dress shopping next month. It'll all come together don't worry!!! Happy Planning!!
