Reception linens

My reception venue provides the table linens, napkins, and white chair covers  but if I want sashes I have to either rent them or make them.  I priced out renting 170 sashes which would be about $115 but I'm not sure if it would be cheaper to make them. Is anyone else going to rent them? or is making them? How much are you paying?

You should check out your local board to see if anyone is selling them, or websites like Recycled Bride. I personally don't have the mad skillz to take on a project like that, but could probably manage tulle or something a little more forgiving...

try smartyhadaparty.com they usually have cheap options and also check the classifieds board and retread like M said!

UGH Chair covers at our reception are $7 each!  I nearly choked when the woman told us.  The chairs that are there are nice enough and within our color scheme so I think we will pass. I have to meet with her to see about table linens because I definitely want those!

$7 is really pricey! We are renting ours for $3 each.

PDX - I'll check that out! 
7 is very expensive.  I can't see spending over 1,100 on chair covers.  They are out of their minds.
