I just have to get this out right now.  I HATE MY JOB.  Now I need to take some deep breaths and go meditate.

Mtess, I am with you!  One of my salesmen, who is a snake, made $35,000 in commissions this month.  This annoys the cr*p out of me because I know he doesn't deserve it.  My boss and I put together one of his huge sales and we get sh*t.  ARGH.  It really pisses me off.
Also, all of the higher ups are out today and it's just me and the warehouse kid.  We are having a b*tchfest and kicking our heels up after busting out butts this week.

Man, I would LOVE to get a $35,000 commission check!  One day I will work up the nerve to get out public service work. 

As for my vent, I wish I had more time.  Mainly to clean.  I work 12 hour days (2 jobs) and by the time I get home after 8pm each night there just isn't enough left in me to do it.  And on weekends my fiance and I are always running around.  My poor home.  It used to be so lovely and comfy.  Now it looks like a big cluttered mess.  Oh well.  One more year of having a second job and then I'm out of there!  :-)

not really a vent - but FI and I are heading to the beach for the weekend and driving my mom down - she is staying for the next week (my dad and son have been there for a week already )  in any case i am tired and cranky and now have to wait on her to get home from work and finish up her stuff / packing so we can go - i could have left yesterday afternoon but she won't drive on the highway so i already had to wait an extra day - now several hours more to be in the car for about 4 with her - just toldl FI - i am scared of what she will bring up in the car to talk about - i just want a nap

I can get on board with this... My boss is back to his usual unhappy self after the high of a long vacation has finally wore off for him. Today has been a very, very stressful day, and I'm back to feeling like I can't do anything right in his eyes. Sigh.

Well after having my ring for less than 24 hrs my band started messing up so we took it back , got our money , so now I have to search for a new ring. This is such a hard search for me. I also want to vent for my fiance , he is having a stressful day at work. He is a department manager and he gets a lot of crap for things his associates do. Plus , we go on vacation at the end of this month and now they are trying to take it from him even though the time has been approved. Heres to hoping things get better.

ok, I feel like my life is falling apart, my fiance just got fired from his second job in less than a month, the first was a set up, and the most recent they fired all the full time workers and just kept the temps (imagine that), and not saying there is anything wrong with temps, but since they aren't required to get benefits and they are paid less they are the ones that tend to keep jobs longer.


So right now we have no source of income, we are living with his mom right now so thank god for that because we have a little girl, and I can't work any strenuous jobs right now because I get surgery on the 8th and will most likely be practically bed ridden for a month or too.

So guess what??  I JUST QUIT!!!  I'm usually not impulsive with things like this ESPECIALLY not a job.  I usually would find another job then put in my two weeks.  (Luckily my fiance's income can hold us down but I am job hunting right now.)  But today was the day.  My boss is the worst boss you could ever think of.  I'm feeling a mix of soooooo many emotions.   But you know what?  If you are in an environment that is toxic to your soul get out of it!  You and only you can fix you're problems.  So F this feeling of sadness and being scared.  I'm moving on to bigger and better things!

You go girl!  Good luck with the job hunting!!  I so wish I could do this.  I also hate my job and my boss is any nasty world you can think of for a female!  haha  I have only had two/three "real" jobs in my life and I am 30.  My first job in HS was at an ice cream place/2nd job was dr office I worked at for 8 yrs and this dr office I have been here almost 4 so I am scared to move on...

Anywho my vent...I do not understand why it takes men 10 times longer to do anything.  From simple things like taking the trash out to getting the baby ready for bed.  My FI is slow and it DRIVES ME NUTSSSSSSSSSS!

*hugs for all the work stress* I don't mind my job but a-it's part time, b-it has nothing to do with my college degree which leads to c-everyone is still asking me when I'll find a "real job".  I just applied for a full-time secretarial position that my FI told me I should apply for even though I don't feel fully qualified and I hate talking to people so interviewing=h-e-double hockey sticks for me.

My main boss is on vacation and the idiots, I mean management, that are running everything are the laziest, stupidest people I have met. So this week has been hard and annoying. Just one more day, and I finally get a break. Hoping next week is much better.

I don't have any work stress but need to vent none the less. So a close cousin and I got engaged around the same time and both decided on September 2013 weddings early on. Sounds cool right .......... Wrong. This cousin and I used to talk weekly about wedding plans. I did share a lot of my ideas btw. She has not talked to me In about 3 weeks since I set my budget. She told another cousin she thinks i'm trying to upstage her wedding because my budget almost double hers. She wanted us to get married on the same weekend and sort of share a reception. Well that can't happen and im not celebrating a reception if I'm not married yet. Why can't she realize that we are 2 different people engaged to 2 completely different men. Arghh

Sorry guys, this forum is also my therapy.  The icing on the cake is that my best friend of 13 years who is also my ex boss's daughter and who is also the maid of honor, is now starting to harp on me so she is now my ex-maid of honor.  (Luckily I have 2!)  I just feel like if you're bringing negative and not positive out you go!!  Let me end my piece with a facebook quote I saw a few mins ago. "Every moment you get is a gift.  Spend it on things that matter."

I can totally relate.  I've been unemployed before when I was in between contractor positions.  And was in a horrible job situation for a few years but had to wait to transition because I didn't have a second income to lean on then.  Now I'm in a much better position.  But I'll never forget that feeling.  Definitely don't include anyone in your wedding that can't be 100% happy for you so good for you nipping that in the bud.  I also spied a great quote on Friday that I am telling myself all the time now..."Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass.  It's about learning to dance in the rain."
