I am in the process of booking our cake, We are going to do a cupcake stand with a small cake on the top. Our meal will include dessert, do you think if I just did mini cupcakes that would be okay? Or should I do regular cupcakes?

If you are serving a different dessert with the meal then I think a mini cupcake would be alright. But then again, i'm the crazy girl that doesn't really like cake!

I think just cupcakes are fine. Not sure about everyone else here but I have a big family that doesn't leave the dance floor all night. No one even touches dessert. They probably wouldn't even notice if I didn't have a cake!

This.  My family is more interested in the bar selection than the dessert lol.  I think you're covered with minis!
