Finally Friday

Holy moly, did this week just drag for anyone else? Today is going to be hella slow as well. I don't really have any work to do, so I'm just going to be browsing wedding stuff all day!

Last night I worked on our save the date labels, and they turned out really great -- I'm very happy with them. We are doing a wrap-around like this:

Now I have everything but the actual cards, but as soon as we get those we can finally mail out our save the dates. Then it's REAL!

Yay!  I'm working on my wedding invitation wording.  I'm going to see my FMIL this weekend and I want her to take a look at it to make sure it looks ok.  She's also showing me her dress so I'm really excited about that!  FI and I are booking half of our honeymoon this weekend.  We priced everything out two weekends ago and was supposed to book last weekend, but Nemo got in our way.  Oh well!

I have to work this weekend! Got a 13 hour shift tomorrow, and then nightshift on sunday. Sigh! I really wish I could just enjoy the weekend.
We had the funeral for my grandmohter yesterday so this week hasbeen anything but a good week.

Now I am heading to the gym, going to a boxing class! Then I am making vegetarian enchilladas for dinner, having my sister, brother and father over That should be fun!
Hope to book the mini honeymoon this weekend if I can just make up my mind which day I think we can leave. I am planning on surprising my FI with that after the wedding, should be fun.

I want to try to make the inserts for the invitations myself and see if they match the sample I ordered. If I can at least do that part, it will save about $100, but that will have to wait for another weekend. Tomorrow after I leave work we are headed to the beach to have our tasting/finalize what we are getting from the hotel. Then since my dad lives 10 minutes, we will go make him cook us dinner. Sunday we are going to celebrate Valentine's Day with a German Buffet. 

Oh and it is supposed to be in the 60s all weekend so I plan to bust out my boots and scarves for one last time this winter.  The joys of living in Florida.

this DAY is still dragging! why is it not the weekend yet? this week was tough. we had to put down our family dog yesterday which was really upsetting. on the upside, we FINALLY booked our honeymoon! we are going to Aruba!!! @mpickl - we literally got the LAST Tara Suite at the Bucuti and Tara!! I'm really excited!!!

9/8-9/18. The travel agent requested a ground floor suite for us so we can just walk out onto the beach but she said there's no guarantee. All we can do is ask!

One key point about Aruba from personal experience. Do not go looking for the haunted areas We went on a family vacation and had this touristy kind of map and it said this one area in the center of the island near a cemetery was haunted. We couldn't find it, went to leave and the rental car stalled and we got t-boned, I think the ghosts made their point.

Holy moly! I'm not even going to mention this to FI, he would totally make me go ghost hunting!
