How was everyone's weekend? Lots of checks??

My weekend was great. Had two kids birthday parties to go to but we did make it to the cake tasting and picked out both cakes. I also had time to have girls night with my bridesmaids we put the finishing touches on out Vegas trip. Guestbook should arrive today and save the dates Wednesday.

My weekend was WONDERFUL! 

We bought our wedding bands and I am seriously in love with them. 

I also found my wedding shoes!  I was originally going to go with ivory glitter Toms but something was eating at me that I wanted something different.  I found the perfect shoes on the clearance rack at DSW.  They're Kenneth Cole suede ballet flats with a glitter toe.  and on the back of the heel in a dark emerald green.  I love, love, love them.  Plus, after the wedding I can still wear them instead of just having a shoe I'll never be able to wear again.  I posted a picture but they're the green not grey.  I can't find a picture of them anywhere.
 

But other than shopping, I spent time with my bestie/MOH and laughed like crazy.  We needed that.  And we found a bridesmaid dress we really liked.  She's going to wait to buy it though since it's just her and she wants to lose a little more baby weight first. 

But boy do I hate Mondays.  I hate going back to work after such a nice weekend.  Boo.

Snowed in for the weekend.  FI is still snowed in and won't be plowed out until next weekend (their street mind you).

I did NOTHING this weekend.  It was amazing and I highly recommend it.  Back to work on wedding stuff next weekend :-)

Goofy! Rings and shoes -- FAB! Excited for you -- my shoes should be on my doorstep today, but I know they are going to be too small. Still, excited to see them in person!

I did nothing... I'm kind of over the wedding planning. But we did work on the house finished up painting the cabinets and that was about it.

Thanks!!!  I'm not excited or anything.  ;-)    FI's ring a little different than pictured.  He just has etched lines on each side of the bigger diamond, not lines of diamonds. 

I hope your shoes fit better than you expect!

My only wedding accomplishment was getting FI to register with me. He was convinced there was nothing we needed since I have had a house for about 10 years and we have lived together for 3. Once we got into BBB, he found a lot more stuff than I did to register for. Other than that our weekend was fairly calm.  The monster puppy was at the vet all day on Saturday getting neutered so he wasn't home to terrorize anyone, then when he came home he was cranky and sleepy. Hoping to make it to Men's Warehouse one night this week to pick suits/tuxs for the wedding. I hate that there are so few options for rentals and that they are all so expensive for anything but a basic black tux.

We secured our barn venue, its on our property but we dont own it so I got 100% approval to do our reception there which helps me feel more excited to kick into decoration gear! We also chatted with a band about playing at our reception.
Now I really need to start researching flooring for the barn arena (dirt floor ugh).
And it seems im much farther behind then a lot of you.
I dont have a dress, I havent spoken to all of my bridesmaids about being my bridesmaids yet. FI hasnt spoken to any of his groomsmen yet. But we dont want to do it over the phone! We're just so busy doing other things.
Dont have save the dates. No cake tasting yet.
But the weird thing is Im not stressed out about anything? :P
Oh well!

No checks this weekend and I am most definitely ok with it. Since we were going to get married in April we have a lot of the bigger stuff done. Mostly we just have to do the small details. We also need to find a new DJ but thats ok because I wasn't a huge fan of his. I am hoping that I can find one I like better.

Shoes did not fit, but thanks to Zappos great shipping policy, I am going to return them and get the right size. I had the too-small ones on for a little while last night and I am in LOVE with them.

Illness kept me in bed all weekend, so I did nothing.  However, I got to my office today to find a big Priority Mail box on my desk - with FI's wedding ring in it.  Stoked
