Welcome back Pickl!

Has anyone had WR nightmares/dreams? I keep having nightmares that all relate back to not having everything done for the wedding. Last night was that I was at a florist the day of picking out flowers to throw together a bouquet, we also didn't have a wedding cake.

In the past it was that I either didn't show up to the ceremony (was running late or something) or I showed up in jeans with my wedding dress no where in sight. I think the dreams are telling me I need to get my behind in gear and get some of these things taken care of.

I keep having those dreams too! Most recently, that I forgot to find someone to do my hair and makeup. And didn't realize it until I was supposed to be walking down the aisle. So I'm sitting there in my dress as the ceremony is about to start and I'm making everyone look up salons. Apparently, I was just going to make all the guests wait until I found someone lol 

Not surprisingly, in real life, this is the like the only vendor I haven't found yet. So I guess I need to start looking for a hair and makeup person!

I haven't had any dreams yet.  I don't usually remember what I'm dreaming about though.

I picked up a side project to make a little extra money for the wedding.  It was supposed to be easy and turned into a nightmare!  I finished it last night and I get to hand it over tomorrow.  Yay!  It actually came out awesome and I learned a few new skills in the process.

I realized that FI and I are going to 1. finalize our catering selection 2. finish up with the flowers and 3. order our invitations all in one day next month.  Once we send the save the dates, we'll be all set for a while!  That makes me happy.

Only a few more days until I move!  I probably should start packing...

Welcome back!

I finally admit to being in a wedding slump.  FI and I (mostly me, but that's because I'm awesome lol) accomplished a LOT in a few weeks time, and there isn't really much for me to do.  RSVPs have been rolling in via the website, and that feels pretty good.  I also have a ton of DIY projects to tackle, but the one I chose to start now has nothing to do with the wedding.  I'm also missing the flash of my engagement ring - it's been gone for a week for replating, and I still have at least another week to go before I get her back.

Blah.

Tay, I'm the same way... I got into a slump, got out of it, and now am falling back into another one. Ugh.

I am having nightmare about moving. We are moving back to my mom's house. She lives in a 3 bedroom alone and instead of mom, FI and myself always being broke we decided to not renew our lease and move in with my mom. FI and my mom get along good, but it is still stressful since I know FI really well and of course I know my mom really well. I'm the middle man AHHHH!!! My mom has never been able to do any work on the house so its pretty much been the same since the 50's when my grandmother bought it. We are able to do work on it which makes my mom really happy so instead of wedding stuff we have been doing house stuff. We are also planning on putting on an addition (maybe after the wedding) which would give us a bigger upstairs a second bathroom, bigger living room and my mom her own living room. I really really hate moving and it is very stressful to me, but add on the fact that we are still doing work on the house and I'm trying to do wedding stuff! FI is also a bit of a a pack rat and I am just freaking out that we aren't going to have enough room in the house for all our stuff since the additions aren't on yet! For the wedding I am still waiting for FI to get my addresses

Welcome Back!

I'm having all sorts of nightmares:

1. Had one that our JP was drunk and forgot to get us married and told everyone to go to the reception.  I was crying but wait I'm not married but no one listened.

2.  Another one was that FI was extremely late to our wedding because he decided to go swimming...(don't ask lol)

3. Had one last night that out very was over crowded that people I didn't even invite came and there wasn't enough food or tables.

I have one nightmare a week! lol

I am having major wedding nightmares too. I keep being forced to marry my cousin. This is a recurring dream. I walk down the ailse and instead of it being my FI waiting there is my cousin! Then I am told that because both he and I are hopeless cases and will never be able to find someone ourselves we have to get married! My cousin is this huge guy with no personality and although we get on ok we have absolutely nothing in common.. I wake up stressed and worried each time I have this nightmare... Hope they disappear soon!

The deadline for our RSVP was yesterday. We have 70 guests confirmed Still waiting on 12 people who havent replied even though we have been sending emails, messages and have called them. 8 of those are one family on my FIs side so I have been pestering him to pester them into replying, I would like to know the exact number of guests and I think people should be able to reply within the alloted time. Though I have to admit that the fact that only 12 out for 100 guests havent replied is pretty impressive

I have had a couple wedding nightmares.  Mostly that I forgot to book the reception room (which was odd, because that's what we got done first).  Or forgot to book something else.

We got the STD's out last week and keep hearing back from people that got them, so that's reassuring.  We have a catering tasting tomorrow afternoon, which I am VERY excited about.  Still have a lot to do, but it's comforting to know that we'll have the basics down after this week.

I had a dream the other night. I was 3 hrs late for the wedding because i overslept, my girls were wearing yellow not black, my hair/makeup wasn't done, they had the reception before the wedding, and we forgot to take pictures.
