Looks like some of us have a lot to AW about this week. Please share!

Ordered our Save the Dates with one of our engagement photos (really excited about that!) so I can't wait for them to come in!  We're not sending them out until the end of January but I get 5% cashback on online purchases through the end of the year so I figure i might as well get them now and at least get something back.

Our centerpieces came in this week too.  We're going to open the boxes this weekend and make sure nothing was damaged and that they sent the right number (our centerpieces are model sailboats).  So excited!  I wasn't sure if we'd be able to get 40 of them so we ordered early (plus the whole cashback thing) and it all worked out!  So now I have one less thing checked off the list!

I ordered my wedding shoes yesterday!  I have a favorite pair of red high heels and I just found out they come in navy blue.  So I ordered them and saved a ton of money too ($20 off, free shipping, and 10% cashback).  Score!

I'd say it was a successful week!

My AW this week is my wedding party.  They are all so genuinely excited about helping me plan this wedding.  My co-maids of honor have both called me this week to chat wedding stuff and make sure I am on top of everything.  One of my bridesmaids (my little sister) found me a hair and make up team that I am really excited about working with and they are booked!

FI took out the trash.  (It's the little things!!)

We have been so productive - we decided on a baker for the cake and we're signing our photog contract this week. Our next confab is on a vintage limo and the chair sashes. We are moving and grooving! Whoohoo!

I don't know if I have any real "awww" moments considering what has been going on this week. 

But last night as I held my FI and looked into his eyes the love between us was just overflowing.  When you get married you say the vows "through thick and thin through sickness and health" and you don't expect bad things to happen so soon.  But without a doubt I love my FI more than I ever thought I could possibly love someone.  Even if the left side of his face never recovers he would still be the most handsome man in the world to me.  He's my world.

Today is my and my FI's 4 year Anniversary. He forgot last year and joked that this will be the last year he has to remember this date haha. We are not celebrating until Sunday because we have a busy weekend! Saturday we are going to our menu tasting and I can't wait we will also see the room that we book for our ceremony for the first time and decide how we want the reception space set up...YAY!

I also need to AW about my JOB INTERVIEW I have next Tuesday!!! I have been trying to get out of my company since June so I am definately excited about an interview!!!

@Boston- I thought about doing Navy shoes with my dress as well. Where did you get them and are they high heels - am looking for 4 inches or higher

My biggest AW is that I haven't spent one frivilous dime this week.  I took the fact that the UPS man, whom I have seen maybe twice, called me by my first name last week as a sign to back away from the internet.  It's killing me, but I won't even log in to QVC (because I am weak and will buy).

FI is OFF night shift, we've been hanging out all week and it feels GREAT!!!

My BP and I are going to ladies' night at my goddaughter's school tomorrow night - no drinks, of course, but we haven't all been together in a while and are desperate for Trio time!

Got 97 on a test I didn't think I would do well on and am thisclose to finishing the course I've been muddling through for what feels like forever.

Picked up our beautifully hand-carved unity candle this week and it is exactly what I wanted and special ordered! After we picked it up we went and visited our best man's crash site where him and his little brother died back in May. There were still pieces of the car everywhere. Very emotional time for FI and I. Miss them everyday.

I am pretty certain I found my dress AND it went $200 cheaper yesterday for a sale that runs through the 19th! I am stuck between 2 dresses. One I love and one my mom loves. I love the back of the one my Mom loves, but I love the front of the one I love! Wish I could sew them together! lol Going to try them on again soon and make a decision.

Also, booked our photographer! I had one of my BM take some engagement pics with her awesome camera ad they turned out good, but now my friend's husband who is a photographer and graphic designer is going to do our day of photography for only $250! They just got married and know how much weddings can cost so he is charging us $250 instead of his usual $900 since we are friends. He is going to take some engagement pics of us sometime in the next month. So happy to have artistic friends that are willing to cut us a deal and save us a ton of money!

These are beautiful! I am looking for a more navy color though! I signed up for their rewards too and of course, already bought a pair of boots with my first rewards coupon LOL !

That's wonderfuly Goofy.  Keep enjoying and soaking up those moments.  You can tell your children about them someday!

I probably will take a break from WP until after the holidays.  There's nothing urgent I need to book at the moment so I want to fully enjoy these holidays with my FI.  It will be our first time together for Thanksgiving and Christmas since last year we were both in different countries from tickets we bought before we went from just friends to a couple.

Sounds like everyone's been very productive this week!

We FINALLY put down the deposit on our reception venue!  We still have so many things to take care of, but it's a huge weight off my shoulders that we have that day booked and things are starting to move for us.

My shoes came in today. I asked one of my flower girls over the phone. She's THRILLED! With that one of my friends is making two tutu dresses for the flower girls! In the process of picking out photographer and videographer. Didn't know it'd be so hard! I went dress shopping again. And found a dress I didn't want to take off. It's a Martina Liana and were putting a deposit on it this Monday. Also went under budget with that gown, belt and veil. Plus it will look amazing with my shoes. Had a meeting with the planner the vision of the ceremony and reception I had will be tight with the budget. So I'm trying to be as diligent as possible with the rest of the budget. NWR: my baby turns two in 9 days. And I haven't even started on his birthday decorations. Ahhh!!!

I mailed my STDs on Monday night - and everyone started getting them - super exciting ! I think I already said I have what I think is all of my vases for the centerpieces - 1$ each at the dollar store !  Yay!

I have seen a picture of the flowers I want - mango calla lillies - they are the perfect colors - and I want red roses in my bouquet but my girls will be mostly orange ( mango )    my flowers will be the only ones with red

still in melt down mode though because i did not get a dj yet and several other things -

all the girls have their dresses ordered - my son's report card as decent - not failing anything ...

We met with our marriage commissioner this week.  He helps organize every last detail of the ceremony and has this huge binder full of readings...I didn't realize there was so much to it!  We got our STDs ordered using our engagement photos, I checked in with the DJ, reception is booked now we just have to find a spot for the ceremony.  Everything is coming together!
