Semi- going to check out the history is not dorky.  I love it too.  Enjoy those beautiful, history rich sites... you're making me jealous!  I'd love to take FI to Spain where I lived for a semester, but it's too expensive for us. 

Boston- San Diego is beautiful.  Filled with culture.  I spent one day there and would go back in heart beat.  Enjoy!

Now I need to go look for a picture of Los Cabos, Mexico since that's where we're talking about honeymooning!!

We have a wedding to go to in June, in Florida. That is where our honeymoon money is going. We are planning on staying for a few nights at this cute little cabin resort just across the border in Indiana. It is super secluded, romantic and perfect for a getaway.

It is adults only.  You get a horse and carriage ride to your one room cabin, where you don't ever have to see another person until you check out.. There is a fireplace and hot tub in each one. Along with a little fridge, microwave and grill. You can get food/drinks/entertainment delievered, and they use this butler door to deliever anything you need. They bring little surpises thorughout your stay!  There are nature trails, with ponds and streams and wildlife to feed.

I am super excited to be able to do SOMETHING after the wedding.  We may extend our honeymoon by going up to our cottage up in Michigan after our stay here for a few more days. I'm sure I won't be able to get enough alone time with my HUSBAND!

We would like to do a 2 week cruise through Europe if it's in our budget. If not, our back up is a week in Aruba and then a week in Key West,FL and then do the Europe cruise on our anniversary.

maybone do you live in Indiana or Michigan? We are looking into a mini cabin getaway for 34 nights and I was barely going to start looking around. Everything you said about your cabin is exactly what we want! We also want the seclusion and privacy. Awhile ago I was looking under blue fish vacations in Michigan and they seem really nice too! If you don't mind can you share with me the name of the cabin your looking into? You can either message me on here or get ahold of me on our facebook page :.

We are doing a short two night mini honeymoon after the wedding at a small winery with a great spa. I think it will be great just to have some time for the two of us to relax after a hectic weekend. Great food, wine and massages, and lie inns in the morning Should be great. Then in a year or two when we hopefully have more time and more money we are headed for a 2-3 week holiday to Cuba

We are getting a somewhat "FREE" honeymoon aside from the flight and the rental car. My girlfriend is letting us use her dad's condo in Fort Myers, just minutes from Fort Myers Beach! I couldn't be more excited and we can do so much more to save the money we receive from the reception, like buying our first home!

This will be the view out our front window from the hot tub in the main living room. My uncle is nice enough to let us stay in his vacation home in Brian Head, Utah for the week. We fly into Vegas an take the 2 hour drive up the mountains. On our way back, he's also offered us his yacht for an afternoon on Lake Mead. (It definitely wouldn't suck having his kind of money).

We both really want to also go the all-inclusive resort on the beach route, but September being hurricane season worries me too much. Therefore, we have decided to take TWO honeymoons. Who says you only get one honeymoon? We are thinking Punta Cana in May once my busy season at work is over. We'll both be ready for another vacation then.

I can't figure out how to do pictures from my iPad, but we are thinking Italy - a few nights in Positano, maybe capri for a day, and pompeii, and then to Rome before heading home. All a dream until we see what really fits in our budget!

We are for sure going with Mexico, adults only, all inclusive. So far my fave is Excellence Playa Muejer. But we can't book anything yet as there's a chance my future MIL might offer us her time share credits. It's a week at any of there resorts across the world! And that was her gift to my finances brother when they got married. If she doesn't offer soon we are just going to have to book Excellence I think

We are going to Hocking HIlls, OH for a long weekend. Probably staying in a cabin and being cozy.  We are waiting for winter break in order to take a longer trip to somewhere warm.
