Name That Tune...

What songs are you using for the ceremony and reception? Are you doing anything special or funny?
(precessional, lighting of unity candle, recessional, 1st dance, father daughter dance, etc.)

All I have so far is the processional song (Marry Me by Train). No parents are being seated and we only have two BM/GM each so we can all walk down to the same song. We are also not having a reception so no music needed there. I am searching for a song for our recessional and maybe the sand ceremony. It will be short so I don't think I will need one. The officiant can talk while we are pouring the sand.

Ceramony is in a Catholic Church, so church songs (yet to be determined).

Cocktail hour: We're thinking something like "Rat Pack" music.  We'll see.

Dinner: Instrumental - The Piano Guys is our inspiration

First dance: Debating this now.  So many to chose from!

Father-daughter: A really pretty song called "She's on Her Way"

    Mother-son: Not sure yet

Last dance: "Save the Last Dance for Me"

No processional/recessional (short ceremony on the beach so we're not bothering).  No clue on father/daughter (shot down my dad's request, which I feel bad about but...no) or mother/son.

We're pretty sure the first dance is going to be "You and Me" by DMB.  FI loves them and I like them, and looove that song.  Matter of fact, I'm going to queue it up now!

We still have to figure out ALL music options. The only thing I know for sure is that I'm walking to "All Your Life" by The Band Perry

    Oh this is fun!

Our first dance is Norah Jones- Come Away with Me. It's kind of fitting since we've been following each other from country to country.

Father-Daughter dance is Paul Simon- Father and Daughter. My dad and I (and for the matter most of the family) are big Paul Simon fans.

Prelude- Gymnopedie No. 1 by Erik Satie. I've always loved this song and my fiance can play it very well. I can't make it sound so sweet.

Processional- Claire de Lune by Claude Debussy. My mother is a piano teacher and this is one of my favorites that she plays.

Recessional- Dell Amore Non Si Sa- Andre Bocelli. My mother in law had basically one request for the entire wedding and that was some Bocelli.

    Other songs TBD.
