Morning, everyone. Did you all survive Monday?

Today is going to be a long day. I'm at work early because I was out all day yesterday in classes. I also have an interview right before lunch. The job would mean more money, but I'm still not sure if I really want it. At the very least the interview will be good practice. 

What does everyone else have going on today?

I had to go to a wake yesterday.  I used to work with this woman for years.  She was only 54 years old and died from brain cancer (my mom is battling brain cancer right now).  I just feel wrung out.

In other news, FI paid for a private plow guy to plow out their street to the driveway.  The private guys aren't supposed to do the streets, but the public plows aren't coming until Saturday and FI needed to get to work.  So now our weekend plans are back on and we get to spend Valentine's Day weekend together!!!  Yay!!!

Sorry to hear that Boston. Even though she won't tell us what is going on, we think my mom's cancer came back and is in her brain. Other people's health problems can definitely take a toll on you. I'm glad you guys get to spend the weekend together.

My day is going to be filing the monster pile of crap that has been accumulating and sneaking in wedding stuff when no one is looking I need to look for a new job, this one makes me

I also have job interview today! However I'm in the same boat as you, mpickl. It pays much more but adds an hour to my commute, which is no fun. I don't know. We shall see how it goes.

Back at work today; I was out sick yesterday.  I've been sick since Friday, so I've done nothing but mope lol.  Today my plan is to work a full day!  Already at the halfway mark, so I think I can power through this.

Tuesday: (Feeling like a Monday) Went to school an hour early so I could catch up on my homework. After my next class I am going to take a much needed nap since I was up half the night thanks to my FI coughing. Poor guy. Pretty sure I am getting his cold. Heading out tonight for drinks with one of my bridesmaids that I don't get to see often. Excited to spend time with her.

Today I had our regional marketing meeting all morning - made the day fly by, but I have a load of work to do in half a day's time . I also start back up dancing in my dance company tonight - it's our first rehearsal of the new season, which is always exciting. Makes for a very long day though - I won't be home until 9:30.

At least I started my day off today by going to the post office to mail our save the dates - woohoo. FI and I also signed an agreement with a hotel for a block of rooms. Feeling like we are finally getting a lot accomplished - which we need to!
