NWR: How in the *beep*...

I needed to rant...

I ordered something from Amazon for my father for his birthday witch is Saturday.  It arrived today.  I was excited that it actually got here in time.  I opened the box to fit the product crammed into the shipping box.  The box for the product was torn, smashed and not to mention soaking wet to the point of disengration.  Luckily the product itself was not damaged, just a little wet.  I have no idea how the box inside could be this wet with out the outside box being wet or showing signs of water damage, which it did not.  Is it possible that they crammed a wet item into a box to ship?  Why was it wet to begin with? UGH! needless to say I will not be wrapping the wet and ripped box.

I have taken pictures, emailed them to the company and written a review on amazon.  I made sure to say that the item inside is exactly as described, but made sure to mention to deplorable quality of packing and shipping.  I did not ask for a return, I simply want to inform the company of my unhappiness.
