Marty Leonard Ceremony, HELP

  I am having my ceremony at the Marty Leonard community chapel. I am on a tight budget, and I need to find an affordable resturant that does great receptions near by. My number one choice right now is Joe T. Garcias. Also, if anyone has been married, and is getting married at Marty Leonard please give me tips on how you are pulling your ceremony and reception together. What florist, baker, and photographer did you use that was affordable?

There is a sticky at the top of this page with a list of our vendors.  I think bsn (our mod) got married at Marty Leonard, and the list has all her vendors.

There are several  options near Marty Leonard - how many people do you need to hold? La Puertita is a great choice at Joe T's, there is also Los Vaqueros with a quaint little garden area not far from there. Have you checked out Stockyards Station? I believe it is afforadable.

I'm getting married at Marty Leonard Chapel in May of this year. We are doing our reception at Pappadeaux , 2708 West Freeway  which is less than 5 miles from the chapel. They have two private rooms and for lunch the pricing is around $17.95 per person.

There are a ton of great cake vendors in DFW.  All will deliver so it doesn't matter where they are located.  I would check our vendor sticky.  Alot of girls like Panini Bakery and I think they are reasonable.  If you need a groom's cake, the Cake Guys' Sweet Inspiration package might fit your budget.  Then there are home bakers like Tabitha Ballard and Ruth Robbins--there is also a cake thread down a bit on this page.

Also, I threw a private party at the Pappadeux in Oak Lawn and was very happy with how it came out and enjoyed working with them.
