What are your thoughts on a mother walking her daughter down the isle and sharing a motherdaughter dance? My father passed away in '06 and I am hoping to share these moments with my mother. I don't want to do anything "strange" so I just wanted to know your thoughts.

I think its a great idea. I've seen it done before. I dont think it really matters who walks you down the aisle and who the dance it with as long as its someone special to you.

I think it's a great idea! My dad passed away a year ago.  I am having my brother walk me down, but I also considered having my mom do it.  I am sure your mom would be honored.
