Oh man, Monday definitely came way too soon this week. What does everyone have planned for the coming days?

Plans for this week = just getting through it. I'm working my usual six days a week and this is week number two of being back to dance. Last week it kicked my ass. I'm hoping to not be as sore this week. 

I am excited for the weekend though! We're getting engagement pictures Sunday. I just hope the weather changes again because right now they're predicting rain. We got rained out last time and had to reschedule.

Sorry I have been MIA...LO and I have both been so sick it is not been very fun around my house! 

This week I plan to get cleaning done around the house that hasnt been done due to feeling like crap.  Got a fu dr appt today for me fingers crossed my BP is better this time!  This weekend I am doing a women's heart walk then have a wedding shower and I am doing two 31 parties (I am tired already!!!)  It is FI's last weekend of softball so I have to go to the game on Sunday.  Other than that just working and resting!

deburnin, I started exercising again last week and it's been a little rough - I know exactly what you mean.  I've had a headache for days though, so I haven't done it since Friday boo.

Feel better, Mandi!  Your week sounds exhausting, good luck with that .  And...you came back and your ticker is moving, AHHHHH!!!!!

I am home today, drained from head pain and medication to counteract it.  I started organizing my house last week -oh my word- and plan to continue tonight.  I'm deep-cleaning everything as I go and feeling so much better every time I finish something.  Get back into exercising.  Rest today, though I doubt that will happen lol.

WR: I have a videographer to call this week.  I'm trying to get that stuff taken care of this week.  No more procrastinating!  I'm also reading Miss Manner's Guide to a Dignified Wedding and I'm nearly done.  I want to have that finished by the end of the week.  I already have a few things that I want to change around a bit so I'm going to work on that.  Last week I didn't get around to updating my binder so I'm planning on that this week.

NWR: Someone got in touch with me on Ancestry.com about a project he's working on involving my late grandfather.  I'm probably going to sift through some old pictures this week to help him out and also hang out with my grandmother for a bit.  I also have plans to hang out with friends after work.  I have a feeling it's going to be a super busy week.  Plus some of my favorite TV shows are coming back!

I have no real plans this week besides being back on the hunt for a venue long story and working. My work schedule sucks by the way so most wedding related stuff has to wait until the weekend.

Made an appointment for dress shopping on Friday! That'll be about a year out!  So hopefully I can come up with something. I'm not that girly, and even though I'm looking forward to it, I have a hard time finding dresses, and hate wearing them, so I know it'll probably give me a headache!

I am taking a break from cleaning right now. Trying to get all my stuff organized, and it's not fun! I need to gather my wedding stuff together because it is EVERYWHERE, and I don't want anything to get lost/broken. It's laundry day also.

Work is going to be ridiculous this week, so I'm not really looking forward to going back tomorrow.

Thurday a coworker is taking us out to dinner. He is the sweetest man I know, he's like a Grampa! That'll be our one year mark, so I'm excited about that.

WR: Not too much, but I do need to reorganize my binder with all of our deposits/payment information. The Wedding Shoppe in St. Paul is having a HUGE sample sale on a lot of their stuff...my mom, FI's mom, and I are going to go look for Mother-of-the-bride/groom dresses!

deburnin - I hope your engagement photos are able to be done this weekend.  That would be frustrating to have them cancelled twice.  We're putting ours off until next month when the leaves really start changing.  I'm sure I'll be watching the weather like crazy then too.  (It's amazing how when I was younger I thought my grandparents were crazy always watching the Weather Channel.  Now I know.). 

MandiNewMommy - I'm already stressed for you. 

TayBeach2013 - I need to do more deep cleaning too. I feel you.  And the headpain. 

elliemonster2012 - I had that cold last week and it kicked my butt.  I came down with it Wednesday and it lingered until yesterday.  Good luck!  Get some rest and drink plenty of fluids in between napping.  :-)  Besides, you can keep thinking about that pretty dress!!  :-)

BostonGIrl4732 - I would LOVE to have a videographer but the FI keeps saying it's not a necessity.  But to me, I would love to have the memories of grandparents and those that won't be around forever not only in photos but on video too.  Enjoy it.  I should probably read an ettiquette book myself.  I can't even eat without slopping on myself.  ;-) 

leatba - Your'e not alone.  I do most of mine on the weekends when I have time.  Wedding planning and working 12 hour days just doesn't seem to work.  I hope you have better luck with your next venue!!! 

Maybone - Don't underestimate the power of a wedding dress.  No matter how non-girly you are when you see how amazing you look and catch that realization of "wow, I'm really getting married"... it's just an over-the-moon feeling.  Have a good time and don't stress out. 


WR: We may go play in the local antique mall and hopefully find some more great buys and finds for the wedding.  I'm now on the lookout for old doilies.  I am also going to be trying to find an officiant to marry us as well.  Neither of us are religious so we have to find one. 

NWR: Mostly just working, eating, sleeping and cleaning.  ;-)

WR: I just booked our photographer, and I need to look into florist and put a deposit on our cake. Hmm What else, maybe I will make a binder!

NWR: I have the little boy I look after here all week, so just being a busy mama/care provider. I started exercising this week and watching what I eat

Hello Ladies! I'm new here and have been lurking for awhile. Now that I am offically a year out, I have been trying to be more active on the boards. It is so nice to see how all of you ladies on the Sept 2013 get along so well and are so helpful! Some of the other boards can bee intimidating!

Anyhow...I noticed that a few of you have been sick and getting headaches, that seems to be going around my office too! Luckily I have managed to escape that for now.

My week looks the same as yours all do... just trying to survive the long work days! I have a flortist appt on Wed and I am very excited!

LOL! Thanks! Something along the lines of "the only thing making me feel better right now is that I am obsessed with my wedding dress" was my FB status yesterday and got 102 likes....wtf?! 

I love antiques....I got it from my mom!  Post pics of what you find! :)

Welcome KSerafin17!  Glad you've come out of the lurkness and joined us!  :-)  Good luck with your florist appointment.  I still haven't figured out which route to take with my flowers.  My Pinterest has exploded with ideas, but who knows if they'll fit in the budget.  I thought I'd peek around different shops sometime this month to see what kind of flowers are actually in season at the end of September to get a better budget friendly idea of what I want. ... Oh and all of us agree that going to other boards are just plain intimidating.  We're all nice here!  Yay!

GoofyAssChick, I wasn't sure about the videographer until I started looking into it and started watching loads of wedding videos.  Now I can't imagine not having one.  I doubt we'll watch it for a while, but I have a HORRIBLE memory and I want something that will help me bring the day back, especially where I've read that for a lot of people the day just breezes by.

Allergies are killing everyone here.  It seems like everyone in the office is sneezing and tissues are being passed around.  Gross.

Outside of work I hope to finish addressing all the save the dates this week. Got through most of them with my sisters help the past two days but still hunting for a few addresses. I have more updates to make to my website and need to go buy stamps. Then sit and wait for my site to do hotel rooms but can't get it until oct 1. :

Picked up my fake (but very realistic) flowers on  Sunday after making a tester bouquet. I think I did a great job so my Mom and I went and got the rest of the flowers for the bouquets. It took me 3 trips to 4 different stores to find ones that I liked that were realistic. Total cost for all 6 bouquets and a toss bouquet was $70!  Finally got our guest list down to under 150! Woo hoo! Our reception venue holds up to 150 so my goal was to only invite 150 so it isn't so crowded. I will post pics of bouquets once I finish making them. Visiting a friend in etroit this weekend so that should be fun. I too have had a bad headache for 3 days now and a sore throat too. Gotta love the change in weather!

Engagement Photos this Sunday!! So very excited! We're doing them at Morris Arboretum in Phila, PA. It's going to be a lot of fun!!!!
