Jam Favors - Tag or Sign Recommendation

So my mother and I have decided to make minature jars of strawberry/rhubarb jam for the favors.  My sister thinks we need a little saying on the tag (which would be tied on with ribbon) or a sign next to them that says something like "Spread the Love".
I happen to think that sounds vulgar, and she thinks I'm crazy.

What say you? If you did jelly or jam jars, did you have any saying on them? Or did you just have a nice label with a monogram and wedding date? If you did have a sign or tag, what did it say?

I don't think you need cutesy tags.  Just put "Thank you for sharing today with us" or "Thanks from the new Mr. and Mrs.".    I don't know why weddings=cheesy sayings.

    ps:  I'd LOVE the jam!
"Trix, it's what they/our parents wanted. Why so judgemental? And why is your wedding date over a year and a half ago? And why do you not have a groom's name? And why have you posted over 12,000 posts? And why do you always say mean things to brides?" palegirl146

I agree with trix. Just say something simple, usually simple and basic is better. You can buy favor tags/labels that are pre-made or you can buy blank ones and print your own. Either way, you can find them at just about any store that has wedding stuff like Party City, Michael's and Hobby Lobby.

Thanks for the advice, ladies! I think I'll go with my instinct on this one. No cheesy sayings, just a sincere thank you and our names/date on the label.

Just to back you up, I immediately thought that was vulgar too! But I'd LOVE homemade jam as a favor.
