Hi - I just booked my wedding, October 19, 2013 and even though its over a year away I know how fast the time can get away from you. My FI and I are trying to come up with some good ideas for the favors. We want to keep with the fall theme but we also want to choose something that everyone wil like. We were thinking about an edible favor. Any ideas would help - thanks ladies
Re: Ideas for Fall Wedding Favors
Cookie and candy molds will have everything from pumpkins, apples, to leaf shapes. Canning is popular in the fall. Google mason jar recipes and you will find ideas for edible or beverage recipes such as ciders, soups, jams, butters, or cookie mixes, to non-edible items such as bath salts. Trail mixes or popcorn varieties can make for delicious favors.
What are some of the favorite things you and your FI enjoy?
You can make fudge in small plain metal cookie cutters (rather than pouring it into a pan) ... again, you could go with any shape or give each person a decorated fudge "bride" and "groom". Fudge doesn't have to be chocolate, you could also offer peanut butter, pumpkin or maple fudge.
Wow!!! Thank you all for the great ideas. I like that caramel apple idea but then I like the idea of doing something with the mason jars like jam or cookie mix. I've got some time but you all helped a lot.
We say, "I do" on July 12, 2014.
