Marriage License in Texas

We are needing to get our license very soon.  I remember from my first marriage we had a plain-jane looking license, whereas my friend from another state had a real nice, fancy-looking license. (I know I'm being silly, but oh well...lol)  Do different counties issue differently-designed marriage license?  I live in Dallas County, and wonder what their's looks like, as well as Tarrant (where my fiance lives) and Rockwall (where I work near).  Thanks!

Mine looked pretty ornate (Dallas County).

I think you have to either get your license from the county you live in or the one you are getting married in. 

I don't think they let you choose the county based on whose license is prettier.

Actually, in Texas you can get your license in any county :)

I got mine in Tarrant and it was pretty ornate too.

Mine is from Dallas County and is also fairly ornate. Not bejeweled or anything, but pretty darn official looking. I had to fold it more than twice even. It's a big ol piece of parchment, that license. So far, it has impressed my husband and all others who have gathered to view it.
I would venture to guess that all licenses in Texas are the same for uniformity.

We got ours in Denton County (Lewisville) and it was also pretty decorated. It is on legal size paper so it makes it hard to frame or fax or anything for name change reasons. Kind of a pain, but it does look nice!
