Potted Flowers or Plants

I want to give potted flowers to my shower guests.  I was thinking of just buying a flat from a nursery and transplanting them into small pots just to save some money.  Anyone have any ideas where I can get cheap pots, or the whole darn thing for cheap?

    Home Depot has small pots for a good price.  You might also be able to get pots at a craft store like Micheals or Hobby Lobby.
