Candle favors

I am getting married in June.  What do you ladies think about handmade candles as favors?  We are having around 200 people, am i setting myself up for failure?  Where could I find cheap votives or small jars?

candles4less.com sells 72 glass votives with candles for $36. I'm giving out frosted glass candles for my favors.

I love the idea of you making your own, but I feel as though the cost could add up.  Where as I like how these are personalized and come with the little lid for guests to take home
