I am playing with the idea of giving out a single rose to each guest instead of traditional favors. Does anyone think this is appropriate for the male guests too?
Also, the way I envision it, the roses would be handed out to each guest as they leave the ceremony, by a young family member. However, the guests will then be going to a restaurant for the reception dinner, then back to the ceremony site for an after party. If I did it this way, what would guests do with their roses during the reception? Even though I like the thought of giving them out as they exit the ceremony, would it be better to lay them out on the reception tables instead?
Thanks for any input!

I thought of doing something similar as part of a little thank you for my ceremony but i didnt want to waste money on single flowers that would have died,I did some research & i came across Wooden Scented Roses in my wedding colors on ebay,I had my venue lay each one on the chairs before the wedding and most guests took them.
