New York favors

My FI is from New York and I'm from San Francisco. We both now live in Texas now and I wanted do to favors that represented our homes. I was thinking of some Ghirardelli chocolate for SF and I'm stuck on NY...any creative people out there with ideas???

When I think of foods New York is "known" for in a generalized way, I think of cheesecake and bagels.  Or perhaps "Big Gulp" drinks.

Believe it or not, you can find cookie cutters in the shape of the states of California and New York.  You could make cookies in both shapes to "represent".

Why not order the NY Cheesecake Bark from Dylan's Candy Bar? A little tourist-y...but so is Ghirardelli to some extent.
